Brows

Nano shading brows is a combination of natural hair strokes with shading at the end of the tail for dimension. This combination is great for clients that want to achieve a natural look that accents and defines their natural features.

Expectations

  • Semi-permanent makeup procedures are affected by the “canvas” (your skin) that they are performed on. Lifestyle, medications, smoking, metabolism, facial surgery and other procedures, as well as age of skin all contribute to fading and outcome.
  • Every individual’s skin is different, therefore the initial application is always applied conservatively. The final color can be adjusted during a 2nd session appointment. The procedure is not complete after the initial session. A 2nd session is required approximately 6-12 weeks after your first initial application to ensure longevity and ensure the best results.
  • Though rare, infection is possible if aftercare is not handled correctly with caution. If you see signs of infection such as persistent increased redness, swelling, fever, drainage, or oozing, contact your doctor immediately.

Healing Process

  • You should expect to lose approximately â…“ of the initial color during the healing process.
  • In approximately 7-14 days, (after shedding it may appear light).
  • After two weeks, the color will gradually surface. It will darken by day and show its true color on your 6th to 8th week. The color will appear softer when healing is finally complete.

After Healing

  • Avoid Retin- A, moisturizer, glycolic acids, exfoliants, and anti-aging products at all times on brow area. These products can cause pigments to face and lighten prematurely.
  • Avoid tanning beds and apply sunblock if under direct sun. Pigments will slowly face over time depending on metabolism, skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, medication, facial surgery, and smoking. Periodic touch-ups will ensure long-lasting results.

Healing Expectations

  • Day 1: Brows are 20%-25% darker than expected results. All clients will have moderate swelling and redness after the procedure.
  • Day 2-4: Swelling and redness subside. Brows appear darker due to the scabbing process.
  • Day 5-7: Brow shedding begins.
  • Day 7-14: Shedding is complete and brows will appear light.
  • Week 2-6: Brows will begin to darken by day and true color will resurface by your 6th week.
